HAWES - the jewel in the crown at the top of Wensleydale!
There is an abundance of accommodation to be found in this beautiful Market Town from hotels and B&B's to the Youth Hostel & camp sites or gorgeous glamping in yurts, pods & chalets. There's something for every taste and budget. The town is bursting with independent shops & cafes as well as being home to the famous Wensleydale Creamery and the Outhwaites Ropemakers. Crosby House - a beautiful B&B with a friendly welcome from the lovely ClaudiaStone House Hotel - a lovely country house hotel just a mile out of Hawes, renowned for good food
Cherish Glamping - so gorgeous! All the luxury but no crowds - simply beautiful!
Thorney Mire B&B and Shepherd's Hut - all you'll hear is bird song in the beautiful place a couple of miles outside Hawes

ASKRIGG - only 5 miles from Hawes and well worth the short drive - I'm a bit biased because I live there!

Bear Cottage Interiors - well obviously! This is the shop in which I am lucky enough to have our kitchens. It has beautiful homewares, quirky gifts & gorgeous cards that you won't find everywhere, as well as the interiors department with sumptuous fabrics & accessories.
The Old School Muker Art & Crafts - my go-to place for presents for special friends. Richard & Polly offer a warm welcome and an ever-changing array of art & crafts, showcasing the areas finest artists. Well worth a visit.
Mulberry Bush, Hawes - a little Aladdin's cave in the middle of Hawes - perfect for last minute gifts!
Chapel Gallery, Hawes - a contemporary gallery in the heart of Hawes with unique arts & crafts - fabulous!
Serendipity, Leyburn - a great place for gifts, interiors - and a cup of coffee & cake! A great range of Emma Bridgwater, jewellry, glassware, rugs, china - you'll just have to go!
Wensleydale Creamery - the home of Wensleydale Cheese just up the road in Hawes. There's a cafe/restaurant and visitor's centre, shop and tasting room.
Kings Street Kitchen & Gifts - a little gem in the Georgian Market Town of Richmond, around 25 miles away. Quirky gifts and kitchenware.
