Summer School for local young people Aged 11-16 years

We will work together to create tasty but economical dishes using chicken, mince and vegetables. Some will be demonstrated and some hands-on involved.
You will learn to make and use pastry, bread, sauces and cakes/scones/tray bakes. There may even be some tasters!
You will use knives, hobs & ovens and learn about safe practice in the kitchen.
The cost of the course is for the whole 4 weeks and when you book online here, you are automatically enrolled onto the complete course. I would ask that one responsible adult comes each week to assist but other than that one week, I am insured to have that age group unattended. I have DBS clearance for voluntary work with children through church and am the Children's Safeguarding Officer.
I will ask the young person attending to complete an enrolment form, detailing any allergies, responsibilities etc.
